About These Terms
These terms and conditions govern the provision of pre-employment consultancy services by Marie Green, trading as Marie Green Consultancy, a sole trader based in Norwich, Norfolk. References to "I", "me" or "my" refer to Marie Green Consultancy. References to "you" or "your" refer to the client booking services.
Services
Marie Green Consultancy provides pre-employment consultancy services including but not limited to:
- CV writing and review
- Application form support
- Personal statement support
- Mock interview practice
- Career planning
- Support around workplace adjustments and disclosure
- Group workshops (online)
All sessions are delivered virtually via Zoom or Microsoft Teams unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Booking and Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once you have received written confirmation from me by email. I reserve the right to decline a booking where I do not believe I am the right fit to provide the support required.
Fees and Payment
Fees are as set out on the website at the time of booking. I reserve the right to update my fees with reasonable notice.
- Payment for single sessions is due prior to or at the time of the session
- Payment for packages may be made in full in advance or by arrangement
- Workshop fees are due at the point of registration
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed
If you are in financial difficulty, please contact me before your session. I have a limited number of reduced-rate slots and will always try to find a way to make support accessible.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
I understand that circumstances change. The following cancellation policy applies:
- More than 48 hours notice: Full refund or free rescheduling
- 24 to 48 hours notice: 50% refund or free rescheduling (once per booking)
- Less than 24 hours notice: No refund. The session fee is retained in full.
- Non-attendance without notice: The session fee is retained in full.
Where I need to cancel or reschedule a session, I will give you as much notice as possible and offer a full refund or alternative appointment at no extra cost.
Workshops
Workshop fees are non-refundable once the session has taken place. If you are unable to attend a live workshop you have registered for, please contact me in advance. Where possible, a recording will be made available to purchase.
Outcomes
I am committed to providing high-quality, personalised support. However, I cannot and do not guarantee specific employment outcomes. The success of any application, interview or job search depends on many factors outside my control. My role is to give you the best possible tools, preparation and confidence to succeed.
Confidentiality
Everything you share with me during sessions is treated as confidential. I will not disclose information about you or your circumstances to any third party without your explicit consent, except where I am required to do so by law.
I may use anonymised case studies or testimonials with your permission. I will always ask for your consent before doing so.
Your Responsibilities
To get the most from our sessions, I ask that you:
- Attend sessions on time and with a suitable internet connection
- Let me know as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule
- Be honest about your circumstances, goals and any concerns
- Engage with any agreed actions between sessions
Intellectual Property
Any materials, templates or resources I provide are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared or sold without my written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability to you in connection with the services is limited to the total fees paid by you for the relevant session or package. I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of my services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
