What I Have Done to Make This Website Accessible
This website has been designed with accessibility in mind. Steps taken include:
- Using clear, plain English throughout
- Maintaining strong colour contrast between text and backgrounds to support readability
- Using a clean, uncluttered layout to reduce visual overwhelm
- Ensuring text can be resized using browser settings without loss of content or functionality
- Using descriptive link text so that links make sense out of context
- Structuring content with clear headings to support navigation
- Ensuring the site is navigable by keyboard
- Avoiding the use of content that flashes or strobes
Known Limitations
While I aim for the highest standard of accessibility, I recognise this is an ongoing process. Some areas I am continuing to improve include:
- Adding full alternative text descriptions to all images
- Improving ARIA labelling across interactive elements
- Formal testing with assistive technology users

Accessing My Services with Additional Needs
I understand that accessing support can itself feel like a barrier. I offer the following to make working with me as comfortable as possible:
- Written communication by email as an alternative to phone or video contact
- Flexible session formats, including asynchronous support where appropriate
- Sessions delivered at a pace that suits you, with breaks if needed
- Advance sharing of session plans or questions so you can prepare
- No pressure to use camera during video sessions if this feels difficult
- Subtitles and captions available via Zoom and Teams
- Documents provided in accessible formats on request

Technical Information
This website is built using HTML and CSS. It does not rely on JavaScript for core functionality. It is designed to be compatible with modern browsers and assistive technologies including screen readers.
